    Question Best Animation programs?

Looking for some good animation programs, I really like the GUI and drawing tools of flash, but when I run it under wine some fonts just appear as squares, besides I want to test the waters with some other programs. On another note any good animators that use bones? like pivot points? Thaankks

    Re: Best Animation programs?

    What is available
of the top of my head
    2D - Synfig
    Pencil
    KToon
older versions of moho and plastic animation paper

    3D - Blender
    Maya
    Houdini
    SoftImage
    Realsoft3d
    Art Of Illusion

Of these I would probably go with Pencil or flash+wine for 2D
and Blender for 3d (Unless I had some sort of budget)

What comes to my head for the answer of your question is. 2D animation programs Toon Boom Studio 4, and Flip Boom.

I recently read about Synfig, and was happy to hear it has ActionScript support.

Whoever wrote that got it wrong. Synfig doesn't support AS. Sorry about spoling the fun
